Steve Malski Niles began his musical career at the very early of five and began performing professionally at twelve in various rock and wedding bands. He received an education in jazz piano and voice and after graduating from Long Island University Steve played music internationally, primarily in the jazz, rhythm and blues, gospel, and classical genres. While playing and singing in piano bars across Europe, Steve also performed as a side man with various Europe based acts, including the Eb Davis Superband, Tony Hurdle’s Guardians of the Groove, singers Robyn Hemingway, Janisha, and Maria Dangell Dangell. Upon returning home to New Jersey Steve earned Master of Fine Arts in performance again from Long Island University. Steven has since released a book called “The Power of Art in Healing and Transformation†, and a video called “The Director†which was nominated for best music video in the 2016 golden Door Film Festival. Steve is currently minister of music at Claire United Methodist Church, and has run jam sessions for Winard Harper, Richard Pearson and has played as sideman in many acts.
